Mini Metro is a game I’ve actually been waiting for to be released on mobile devices. It’s a minimalistic puzzle game where you create tracks for trains and subways to carry passengers from where they are to where they want to go. But you have to do it with finite resources of how many tracks, trains, and tunnels you have at your disposal. However, you can redraw an existing track, or move an existing train, in any way you’d like to try and make sure none of the stations that pop up become overcrowded. It’s super easy and intuitive, and both relaxing and hectic at the same time.

The Weaver is a puzzle game about weaving ribbons in a manner that ends with the correct strand exiting the weave in the correct position. While there are multiple solutions to the puzzles, if you want to three-star a level you have to figure out how to do it with as few folds as.possible. The simple, colorful design looks beautiful, but you’ll have to put down about $1 to get rid of the ads that blemishes the screen.

If you’d like to test your dimensional thinking, Outfolded lets you plan how to unfold boxes of different shapes to create a path between two squares. Flipping the boxes onto its different sides you step it towards the goal, and continue with the next available box to trace your path around holes and gaps, trying to make your pieces fit and reach the entire way.

A simplistically stylized game about building and balancing a power grid to power cities and towns, while taking into consideration how to manage if a powerline is damaged in some way. The difficulty ramps up a bit inconsistently if you’re looking to three-star everything, and the effect you need to look out for are random, so you can’t guarantee that a fix will work on the next run. But as long as you power all points for long enough you clear a level and unlock the next, so stars are only time-based.
